Our Comprehensive Services
Professional psychology and wellness services designed to support your mental health, personal growth, and overall well-being at every stage of life.
Career Counselling and Guidance
- We assist Grade 9 learners to make appropriate subject choices (prior to Grade 10) that are in alignment with their dreams, core values and future plans.
- We assist Grade 12 learners to choose post-matric career paths that are in line with their authentic self, core values, personality and genuine interests.
- We assist tertiary students with career choices, transitions between faculties, and coping with tertiary/academic stress in general.
- We assist working adults with decisions and coping mechanisms pertaining to toxic workplace dynamics, job losses, career redesign and pivoting stress.
Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
- We offer confidential, brief counselling sessions (typically 3–6 sessions) to employees dealing with personal or work-related issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, or grief. This includes immediate support during crisis situations like traumatic workplace events or personal emergencies.
- We help employees navigate challenges related to balancing professional and personal responsibilities, managing workplace stress, addressing burnout, and developing coping strategies for demanding work environments or major life transitions.
- We conduct confidential assessments for employees struggling with alcohol or drug use, provide initial counselling support and make referrals to appropriate treatment programs or specialists when longer-term intervention is needed.
- We provide guidance to managers and supervisors on how to address employee performance issues, handle difficult situations with staff, recognise signs of distress in team members, and create supportive workplace environments while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
- We connect employees with specialised services and community resources for issues beyond the scope of brief EAP counselling, such as legal assistance, financial counselling, childcare or eldercare support, and ongoing mental health treatment.
Executive Coaching
- We help executives understand their leadership style, personality traits, strengths, and blind spots through psychological assessments and reflective exercises, enabling more effective self-management and interpersonal interactions.
- We work with clients to develop skills in recognising and managing their own emotions and understanding others' emotional states, which is crucial for building relationships, navigating conflict, and making sound decisions under pressure.
- Using evidence-based psychological techniques, we help executives identify and modify counterproductive behaviours, develop new habits, and overcome obstacles that may be limiting their effectiveness or career advancement.
- We provide strategies for managing the intense pressures of executive roles, preventing burnout, and building psychological resilience to handle setbacks, uncertainty, and high-stakes situations more effectively.
- We coach executives on how to communicate more effectively with different stakeholders, navigate difficult conversations, build trust with teams, and enhance their influence and presence in organisational settings.
Financial Psychology
- We provide therapeutic interventions for clients who have experienced financial trauma such as poverty, bankruptcy, foreclosure, sudden loss of income, or growing up in financially unstable environments. We help clients process these experiences and develop healthier coping mechanisms.
- We work with clients navigating the psychological challenges of moving between socioeconomic classes — addressing guilt about upward mobility, imposter syndrome, conflicts between old and new financial values, and the hidden rules of different economic classes.
- We help clients distinguish between genuine systemic and structural obstacles (discrimination, economic inequality, lack of access) and learned helplessness or limiting beliefs, empowering them to act where possible while acknowledging real constraints.
- We work with clients to shift from scarcity-based thinking (fear, hoarding, never-enough mentality) to abundance mindset through cognitive restructuring, addressing underlying anxiety about resources, and developing healthier psychological relationships with money.
- We support clients dealing with Black Tax — helping them balance cultural obligations with personal financial goals, develop healthy boundaries around money requests, manage guilt and family pressure, and create sustainable support strategies.
- We conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations examining clients' money personalities, financial attachment styles, risk tolerance, spending triggers, and unconscious financial scripts, informing personalised treatment plans.
- We design and deliver organisational interventions including workshops on financial psychology, employee financial stress assessments, and creating workplace cultures that reduce financial shame and support overall financial mental health.
Mental Health
- We work with clients experiencing symptoms of depression, generalised anxiety, panic attacks, social anxiety, or phobias through therapeutic interventions, medication management referrals when appropriate, and skill-building to improve mood and reduce anxious thoughts.
- We address problematic patterns including gambling addiction, pornography use, screen/internet addiction, substance abuse, and other compulsive behaviours through assessment, behavioural interventions, relapse prevention strategies, and referrals to specialised treatment programs when needed.
- We support clients who have experienced traumatic events, abuse, accidents, or other distressing situations, using trauma-informed approaches to process these experiences and reduce symptoms of post-traumatic stress.
- We address challenges in romantic relationships, marriage difficulties, parent-child dynamics, family conflict, communication breakdowns, and interpersonal patterns that create distress or dysfunction in personal connections.
RAF & Medicolegal Services
- We conduct comprehensive evaluations of claimants to assess the nature and extent of psychological injury sustained from road accidents, medical negligence, unlawful arrest, divorce-related trauma, or loss of a loved one, and produce detailed expert reports that meet legal standards.
- We evaluate and document the severity of psychological harm, loss of life amenities, pain and suffering, and impact on quality of life, while also assessing the psychological impact on dependents who have lost financial and emotional support.
- We assess psychological trauma specific to various legal contexts including unlawful arrest and detention, medical negligence, and accident-related injuries, providing context-specific expert opinions on the unique psychological consequences of each type of incident.
- We conduct evaluations in divorce proceedings including parental capacity assessments, best interests of the child evaluations, psychological fitness for custody arrangements, and assessment of psychological abuse claims.
- We provide professional testimony in court proceedings, explaining psychological findings in accessible language, defending assessment methodologies under cross-examination, and offering objective evidence-based expert opinions.
Workplace Stress, Burnout and Toxic Culture
- We help individuals cope with chronic stress, workplace pressures, overwhelming life demands, and burnout through resilience-building strategies, boundary-setting, and identifying sustainable approaches to work and personal life.
- We support employees navigating difficult workplace dynamics such as bullying, harassment, manipulative colleagues, poor leadership, organisational dysfunction, and toxic cultures, while also consulting with organisations to identify and remediate systemic issues that harm employees' wellbeing.
